What my collectors say
We enjoy “On the Fence” for multiple reasons. My spouse and I are both from New Jersey and moved to Downtown Delray Beach. We desired an art piece that reminded us of all the great times at the Shore and this painting is a terrific fit. The playfulness of the flip flops evokes the sentiment of kids at the beach having fun. The colors and light in the work brighten our living room and almost act as another window facing the beach. This painting makes us feel happy and reinforces our connection to the past and present.

. Jeri's paintings portray such a unique character of sea shells. She is always amazing me with her work. I am thrilled to have a few of her pieces in my art collection.

How my art journey began…
I grew up on a barrier island off the coast of New Jersey. Four blocks wide from the ocean to the bay. I learned to appreciate everything about the coastal environment, how connected we are to nature and nature's impact on our everyday lives.
Building castles and forts in the sand, setting up sidewalk shell stands, fishing and crabbing at the crack of dawn, and exploring all the sea life. Summer days were spent swimming and rafting with friends on the north side of Casino Pier. These experiences left lasting memories that take form in my current work.
My paintings range from abstract to representational. The sea shells, the beach, and ocean subject matter brings that coastal design into a home. Take at look at my current paintings.
